Script:  -You'd make a decent criminal.   -Okay, so you're an expert on crime. No, the only true expert on crime is a criminal. Oh. Too bad I'm the law. I've found, personally, in my travels, that real men tend to live  by our own set of rules. Lesser men, yeah, well,  they tend to obey the law. Or enforce it.   Mise-en-scène 1) Still Image – Wednesday The camera is positioned so that Wednesday is the main focus of the image, which makes the audience pay attention to her expression and body language. The lighting is quite dark and the colours are mostly black and grey, which fits Wednesday's personality and the darker style of the show. Her body language is quite serious and she does not look very happy, which makes her seem quite distant from the other characters. There are also props and costumes that help show the setting, such as her black clothes and the things around her which make the scene feel like it is taking place in a gothic school environment. The setting is also quite old-fashioned and dark, which helps create a slightly mysterious feeling. Overall, the different parts of the mise-en-scène work together to make Wednesday seem quite unusual and mysterious.   Extract 1 – Wednesday (Horror/Comedy) In this extract from Wednesday , the mise-en-scène helps create a strange...
